How Do Jazz Classes Work?
When you register to join our Jazz band, you will enjoy a weekly one-hour band class that will prepare you to take part in live performances. Our jazz fusion band plays at a host of professional venues around the county.
Essentially, the goal of the class is to teach the jazz and funk standards in a lively, passionate band setting. The classes focus on:

How Much Does Jazz Band Cost?
You will have to audition for a spot in the band. Once accepted, you can enroll and pay for the Be Natural Music jazz band monthly. The classes cost a fixed monthly fee of $135. We also offer access to partial scholarships. For more information, visit the Scholarships page here.

Who Is Eligible to Join the Be Natural Music Jazz Classes?
Our jazz classes tailor to younger musicians who are looking not only to improve their music skills but also to overcome self-confidence issues and nervousness. As such, we welcome any ambitious musicians between the ages of 12 and 20.
This class is not for beginners as anyone auditioning must know their major scales, minor scales, blues scales and basic 7th chords on their instrument.
Furthermore, we require that every student brings their own instruments (except drums, piano, & amplifiers). We do provide a drum kit on-site for our drummers, although every prospective drummer will need to have his or her own kit at home for practice purposes.
