Regarding Spring Concerts
Dear families of Be Natural Music,
I wanted to reach out personally to give everyone an update on concerts and the status of our music school. Before giving you a full explanation though, I wanted to make this announcement:
Spring Concerts will NOT be happening in July or August as we were previously hoping for.
Instead, we will prepare for the regular Fall Concert season, which takes place between mid-October, and the first week of December. The Fall Concert season will be set up for Steam-only (no physical audience) and in-audience – IF the Shelter-in-Place has subsided by then, but the point being is that the Fall Concert season will be a go regardless.
With all that said, I really want to level with all of you: I’ve been working so hard to get the postponed concerts rescheduled, as I know how badly all the bands want to perform! But it’s just so incredibly complex and stressful still that I had to throw my hands in the air last weekend and give up. If you knew me personally, you would know how incredibly hard that is for me. I’m a perfectionist and I strive to make things awesome for everyone!
So PLEASE accept my sincere apologies. I understand the disappointment.
But the good news is that our school was able to open safely on June 1st – without incident – which has been an incredible blessing! And on top of that, we were able to have two successful Summer Camps! (Videos are coming next week, so hold tight)
I would like to extend my gratitude to all of our students and families for sticking by us and helping to keep the music education flowing at our school! I’d also like to take a moment to appreciate our office manager, Tea! For all the hard work and research they had to do to keep us going on Zoom, and then all the precautions we had to put in place to make it safe for our students. And to all of our teachers for all their hard work and adaptability.
Love you all!
With sincere gratitude,
Matt
