An Update for Our Community

On June 1st we reopened our doors…and we have to say, we are so grateful to be open. In the lead-up to our reopening, we built shields for between teacher and student, drum shields for the drumkits, purchases masks, hand sanitizer, & alcohol for sanitizing.

Now that it’s been 6 weeks it’s paid off as we have had zero incidents!

We have continued offering lessons on zoom and we’re glad to make it an official option for lessons here at our school.

This all being said, we just wanted to share our gratitude to the community, to the city of Santa Cruz, and to the federal disaster relief programs like the PPP. If it wasn’t for those loans we’d probably be out of business by now.

On top of that, we were able to offer two weeks of summer camps by having it hosted at Santa Cruz Sessions which enabled us to have ample physical distancing along with mask-wearing. Again, we’re glad to report no incidents! Unfortunately, though, we have had to cancel our spring concert season, but this gives us time to prepare for an amazing Fall season, regardless if SIP is still in effect or to offer stream only concerts

Hope all are staying happy & healthy at this time.
